What a case is
One case is one clinical vignette discussed with an examiner. You see the image, they open with a question, and where it goes depends on your answers.
Every case produces a report. You get feedback on your performance, the answer key for the case, and the full transcript of what you said. The simulator uses the same scale the real exam is marked on, and the same review structure.
The IR bank holds 52 cases and there are 4 examiners, so the same case with a different examiner is a different conversation. This parallels the actual exam day, where you will also be tested by 4 separate examiners, one for each content section.

Why this is different from prior study tools
A multiple choice question bank tests whether you recognize the answer. The oral exam tests whether you can say it, out loud, under pressure, with no options on the screen to jog your memory and no one-in-four chance of guessing right.
That is a different skill, and it is the one you are about to be graded on for your oral boards. It is exactly what this was built for.
